Another World’s First for Citizen with the Eco-Drive One.

Citizen celebrates 40 years of the development of Eco-drive technology with a new flagship range called Eco-Drive One. A technology certified as an Eco Mark product within the watch industry. The range is the world's thinnest light-powered analog quartz watch, having a 2.98mm thick case.

This has involved a complete redesign of most parts within the movement, yet has managed to improve on its performance capabilities by being able to run for 10 months on a full charge of the power cell. Making a "World's thinnest" has required the use of new materials that are strong enough to resist flexing of the case. Cermet is a combination of ceramic and metal that combines to produce both thinness and durable hardness. It also helps the watch keep is beautiful case finish. The range has been designed to hug the shape of the wearer’s wrist, and are available in both leather strap and metal bracelet versions.
